What I’m currently diggin’.

Work Hard.    Head High.    Stay Humble.

Hey babes,  hope your week has started off to an awesome start. Positive vibes always! Lately, I’ve been trying out some new products some new and some old, and honestly they have really impressed me.  Don’t get me wrong I love a good drug store find, but every now and then I like to splurge on some high-end products too because why the heck not?

Okay, so you all already know that I have oily skin from my previous posts and if you don’t well… then what are you doing, GO READ MY OTHER POSTS! Just kidding, no but really go read 🙂 This Texas heat has really been no joke, and well I need something that is going to last all day without having to annoyingly blot or powder every so often.

After reading a couple of reviews, I decided to try the CLINIQUE Beyond Perfecting Foundation, and all I can say is YASSS! This foundation comes in 27 shades, perfect for all shades, it states it lasts for 12 hours and let me tell you I’ve put it to the test. This past weekend I attended our local market days and decided to try this product against this summer heat and it lasted like a champ! Its full coverage with a light weight feel and really leaves a flawless look. If you haven’t tried it, your missing out. Cost: $28.00

Another foundation I FINALLY decided to try was the one of the most talked about foundations, Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay in place foundation. Yes yes I know barely, I’ve always heard so many good reviews for this foundation, that I finally decided to see what all the rave was and now I understand why. I tried it out for a couple of days and wow, at the end of the day my skin still looked like I did when I first put it on. It provides full coverage but doesn’t feel heavy or cakey on the skin. It is a little more on the $$$ side but definitely worth it, this foundation has found a permanent home in my collection. Cost: $42.00

I recently just got the new Kat Von D Shade and Light Glimmer eye contour palette, and of course Kat Von D never disappoints. It comes with 12 different shades all with a glimmer finish, to create a glowy day time look to a smokey night-time look. They are “sooooo pigmented” as Manny MUA would say, and blend well on the lid. Cost:$49.00IMG_7759[1].JPG

The next baby, seriously has everything you ever need from Benefit Cosmetics in one! The Cheek Parade Palette is so bomb, has all the best sellers, from your Hoola Matte Bronzer, Hoola Lite Matte Bronzer, Galifornia blush, Rockateur blush, and Dandelion Blush. Need I say more? Cost:$58.00

The next two have been out for a while just took me awhile to discover these, I remember the day when I never wore lipstick, I was your typical chapstick or gloss kind of girl, till now. I’ve been venturing out with different colors and honestly I feel confident in it too, Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Bend and Snap! is one of my favorite shades from the collection, literally goes with any look! Cost: $21.00

It’s always hard for me to find a primer that really does what its suppose to do, all this blurring pores blah blah, I just want something that feels good on the skin and can actually make my skin look smooth, well look no more. Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer is bomb.com. Doesn’t have that silicone feel, but leaves your skin feeling refreshed, and makes your foundation just glide on. It’s a pretty penny but get yourself the mini and a little goes a long way! Cost: $32.00 1.35oz $15.00 Mini

While I was ordering the Kat Von D new Shade and Light glimmer palette, I added the mini Kat Von D Lock-It Setting Powder. I had been eyeing it for a while and finally wanted to try it out. I use this powder to set my under eye concealer, and I must say works really good. I got it in the shade translucent, it’s not drying under the eye and minimizes creasing. Cost: $30.00 full size $15.00 Mini

I had been looking for this setting or “baking” powder for some time now, and finally Ulta had it in stock so I had to scoop it up! I was looking for a good banana shade powder to bake with and BAM I found one for one heck of price too! Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Powder. This is true to its name, such a great product and works great for baking to make that contour pop! Cost: $8.00

This next product has been out for a while now, and I just recently jumped on the bandwagon, better late than never. L.A Girl HD Pro Concealer which is one of the best concealers out there especially for the price, they have over 20 shades and can be used for contour as well. You can find this product on Ulta.com, but I got mine at a local makeup shop in Brownsville, Texas called Acrylic Box Cosmetics so if I have any locals reading you need to make a stop there ASAPPPPPPPPP! Cost: $4.99

Stila has serious out done themselves, the new Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eye Shadows, well the freakin’ name says it all they are truly magnificent. They make any eye look, glamorous. The pigmentation and the glow is really out of this world, I don’t know how they did it but wow they are beautiful. Cost: $24.00

Okay, so why has no one ever told me about The Balm Cosmetics Mad Lash Mascara, it is seriously life changing, if you haven’t tried then you must! It adds so much volume and length, I should have taken a picture to show you, and next time I will. You need to try it for yourself and you will see for yourself! I bought this at the same local store, Acrylic Box Cosmetics. Cost: $18.00

Last but not least, Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herb and Rosewater. This is another item I had been wanting to try every time I walked into Ulta and decided it was time I picked it up. I love the smell of Rose anything so I knew I would love this too. It leaves a refreshing feeling on the face, with adding key benefits. You can use this as a primer or a finishing spray or even to just hydrate the face. Cost: $12.00

Pricing from Sephora & Ulta

I’ve been really into all of these products lately, and I know they will become a part of my everyday routine, well at least some cause some of them are pretty pennies! ha ha. Your #girlboss gotta start saving but can’t with all these goodies! Can I get an AMEN?! I wanna hear some of the products you’ve been diggin’ so that I can try some out for myself. Hope this was helpful or pushed you to try some of these products, I stand by them!
