Must Haves for your #GirlBoss Budget.

Sassy, Classy, & Bad-assy” -#BossBabe

Hey babes, hope your having the most chill & relaxing Sunday funday ever. I know I am. I’m sitting here deciding the most important question of the day… what to eat? haha, because it is not just any ordinary Sunday it is Power and Game of Thrones day and you have to eat something good. If you haven’t seen either show then you are definitely not living and what is life, I suggest after reading this blog look them up. You will thank me later…. better yet, your welcome ūüôā

Okay, so I decided this blog would be about some of my holy grail products from the drugstore, I basically use these products on a daily basis and stand by them. I have oily skin, I mean you could literally cook an egg, yes, that’s how much oil I produce. It’s actually quite annoying, having to blot every day and look for products that actually work for my skin type. So if your a girl like me with oily skin then these products will be perfect for you. Check them out, oh and grab some popcorn cause this looks to be a long post ūüôā

Foundations & Concealers

Loreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24 HR foundationРthis is one of my favorites, the mattifying formula works great on my skin and actually leaves me matte for most of the day with minimum blotting.  Average cost: $12.99

Maybelline Superstay Better skin foundation– I contemplated purchasing this foundation for a few weeks, but after reading several reviews I decided to try it out myself. It is super light weight, literally feels like I’m not wearing foundation at all. Love this foundation for a “natural” look. Average cost: $11.99

Maybelline Fit me concealerРthis has to be one of the creamiest concealers on the market, and works for all skin types. Super blendable and buildable coverage,  great for every day! Average cost:$6.99

Maybelline Superstay Better Skin concealerРI bought this concealer first before buying the foundation, and OMG this concealer is bomb. It provides full coverage, but without the cakey feeling. That sounds like a win in my book. Average cost: $8.99

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder– the name pretty much says it all, this long-lasting powder sets great and matte with any foundation. This is my go-to powder for any occasion, leaves me matte throughout these hot days in south Texas. Average cost: $5.49

Maybelline Fit me! Matte & Poreless Powder– I have a love/ hate relationship with this line of products, I absolutely love this powder the most from this line, ¬†as you can tell I’ve hit pan. This powder sets great on my skin and on any skin especially oily. This absorbs the oils from my skin and minimized pores at the same time. Average cost: $7.99

Loreal Infallible¬†Eye shadow¬†– this by far is one of my favorite eye shadows at the drugstore, I’ve tried many others but these always come out on top. The pigmentation is on point, with little to no fall out. I like to add some setting spray or mist to my brush to add that extra pop to the shadow. Average cost: $6.97

Contour & Blush

Elf Contour Palette 83320 – this little gem really caught me by surprise, I hadn’t tried much Elf products other than the brushes but let me tell you this really impressed me. It gives a really nice contour, and blends really well. I’m not much of a fan of the highlight shades but the two contour shades are a must! This palette comes in other shades as well to fit all skin types. Average cost: $6.00

Milani Powder Blush 08 Tea Rose– let me tell you, besides the obvious packaging that simply makes you instantly fall in love with it, the blush color is to die for. This color seriously goes with every makeup look and outfit. The formula is so nice and blends so good on the skin leaving a flawless finish. Average cost: $6.97

Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder 322B Crown of my canopy & Precious Petals 321B- ¬†Do I even need to say anything about these highlights? they are beyond pigmented and literally glide on. Now, for me I usually wear these as either an inner corner highlight or eye shadow since I’m already oily I don’t want any added glow. Average cost: $4.68

Mascaras IMG_7819.JPG

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara– this has to be one of the top of the mascara out on the market. This literally adds so much length to the lashes, giving them that false lash look. Average cost: $9.99

Loreal Voluminous Original Mascara– I was late to finding how great this mascara really is, I had tried it before but never really tried it out to its full potential until now, and I got to say that coating this mascaras really adds the finishing touch to any look. Average cost: $7.99

Loreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara– this mascara is fairly new to the makeup line but already doing big things, this is definitely a dupe to the better than sex mascara, providing volume and fullness. Average cost: $9.99

Wet n Wild Mega length Mascara– ever need a bomb mascara for your bottom lashes? Well look no more, this is the mascara you need in your makeup collection. The wand is a perfect fit for your bottom lashes, and adds so much definition to the complete eye look. Average cost: $2.93

IMG_7820.JPGWet n Wild Ultimate Brow Mascara– this is another dupe compared to the Anastasia Brow gel mascara, but at a fraction of the cost. This holds my brows down perfectly with adding just the right amount of color. Average cost: $2.92

Nyx Mirco brow pencil– another one of my top favorites ever, Nyx really hit the jackpot with this item. This brow product blends out effortlessly, giving the brows a sculptured look without all the work put into it. The brush at the other side of the pencil, combs the brow hairs so nicely. Average cost:$9.99

Maybelline Color Sensational Bold 770 Mauve it – Maybelline always has one of the best lipstick products on the makeup market, this one happens to be part of the Bold collection. I’m always drawn to this color scheme, because I feel that they go with all skin types and makeup look. This formula is so creamy and literally just glides on. Average cost: $7.49

Maybelline Color Sensational Matte 660 Touch of Spice– of course another Maybelline lipstick made the cut, except this one is matte finish. I like to add a little chap stick under neath all my matte lipsticks to add a little moisture. This color is another staple color to have in your makeup collection with the same creamy formula. Average cost: $7.49

Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit 924B Rebel Rose & 926b Berry Recognize¬†– omg, Wet n Wild has really out done themselves with this collection, these liquid lipsticks are so good. I feel that words don’t do them justice, and especially for the price. The packaging and pigmentation on the lipsticks is beyond drugstore quality. Again, this is a go to color to have, that you can pair with just about anything or layer with another lipstick. The texture is smooth and long-lasting without the sticky or dry feel.¬†Average cost: $4.68

Wet n Wild Gel lip liner 657A Plum togethr & 652C Gone Burgundy– what can I say, these don’t disappoint. They are just as good as the liquid lipsticks and go perfectly together. They glide right on the lips to make a perfect pout. Average cost: $2.93

Well, told you this would be a long post, but I hope you found some things you are interested in trying. These products are all staples in my makeup collection and have a permanent home with me until they stop making them. Let me know if you have any products that are your holy grails for me to try, and let your girl know if you tried some of the products I recommend and how they worked for you. Cant wait to hear! (All pricing based off Wal-mart & Ulta)

Also let me know if you have any suggestions for future blogs.

Until next time fam, stay fabulous.
